Don't Just Make it... Make it 3D!
CarveWright's revolutionary carving machine has just become even more revolutionary. The STL import software gives the user the ability to import 3D models as STL's, slice them up for carving and reassemble them into a physical model. It's adding a whole new dimension of possibilities to the CarveWright System. As all CarveWright software, we strive to create the most intuitive and easy to use software solutions on the market. This question was posed on the CarveWright Forum - "Can I build a model in SolidWorks and import it into the STL Importer software that is available from CarveWright?"
Well the answer in a nutshell is Yes! On the left you see the image as it appeared in th SolidWorks Screenshot - on the right is the screenshot form the STL Importer.
So to get from SolidWorks to finished model - save the model as an STL, then upload it into the STL Importer, slice the model to be carved, upload it to the Designer Software (included with your CarveWright machine) .... then do the carve. It is really that easy!

CarveWright is excited to announce the launch of our much-anticipated CarveWright Pattern Depot. This one-stop shop will feature hundreds of new and unique patterns. Along with individual patterns, you will be able to download entire libraries. The CarveWright Pattern Depot will be the largest searchable pattern library available to CarveWright owners.
If there is a pattern you are interested in, you have the ability to “try-before-you-buy” and test the pattern in the CarveWright Project Designer software. CarveWright owners can then decide to buy the pattern and complete your project. With hundreds of designs, soon thousands, CarveWright owners will have access to designs created by artists, professionals and hobbyists. All of the patters that we post in the Depot will be from original artwork or photographs.............
